The school was established in the year 1957 its situated farthest corner of the North District in Tripura in the valley of Jumpui Hills. To start with it was a primary School, Later on it had been upgraded from primary to upper primary in the year 1974 and then upper primary to High in the year 1984 AD. And after that high to higher secondary in dated 27-10-2010. From the very beginning it was a co-educational school. In secondary level students have the facility to study in Arts Stream Only.
